My Wine Canada is a top online marketplace that offers over 1,500 alcohol products, including wine, whisky, cider, and mead. As one of the most comprehensive online platforms in Canada, My Wine Canada provides a diverse selection of products to meet various customer preferences.
Challenge
The key challenge was ensuring a smooth downgrade from Adobe Commerce Cloud to Magento 2 Open Source while maintaining essential custom functionalities reliant on Magento Cloud modules. This included custom gift card management, Cart Rules, and multi-vendor invoicing.
Solution
The IT Delight team successfully migrated My Wine Canada from Adobe Commerce Cloud to Magento 2 Open Source, ensuring that all critical features remain intact. We preserved custom modules, including:
- Gift Cards: We retained the ability to manage and apply gift cards across different vendors.
- Cart Rules: Complex promotional rules were preserved to allow flexibility in discounts and sales.
- Multi-Vendor Invoicing: Seamless invoicing functionality for multiple vendors was ensured across the platform.
