Supadance is a well-known dance shoe brand with a three-generation history. This project aimed to simplify the checkout process, improve product filtering, and connect smoothly with external API systems. We continue providing maintenance, updating modules, and preventing bot attacks to support Supadance’s ongoing success.
About project
Supadance is a well-known brand that makes high-quality ballroom and Latin dance shoes. The Supadance project aims to improve the brand’s online store by creating a modern and user-friendly shopping experience.
Challenge
- Supadance needed a solution to calculate free shipping based solely on product prices, excluding taxes and discounts. Their checkout process was vulnerable to bot attacks, making it difficult for real customers to complete transactions.
- Additionally, Supadance wanted to improve product filtering, enhance address autocompletion, and optimize its review collection process.
- They also aimed to upgrade to the latest version of Magento to benefit from improved security and functionality.
Solution
The IT Delight team created a custom solution to calculate free shipping based on product prices. We set up Cloudflare to limit suspicious checkout requests and block bot attacks. Our team also developed a custom solution to allow “made-to-order” products to work seamlessly with existing shipping options. To improve UX, we added Loqate for address auto-completion, Lipscore for gathering reviews, and custom product filtering.
Finally, we upgraded Supadance’s Magento platform to the latest version, which enhances security and functionality.

Our latest projects
The project was migrated from Magento 1 to Magento 2 in 2019. Since then he has been in our support. In 2023 it was successfully transferred to Hyvä.
We developed a Magento 2 site for Lager24, building a garage rental system integrated with external APIs for inventory and billing management, remote key programming, an automatic online barrier system with license plate recognition, and video surveillance.
