As a child, I spent many late evenings reading math books because I was very interested in exact sciences. I graduated from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Control in 2007 and successfully defended my PhD thesis in 2018.
Although I have two degrees, a technical one and a law one – I am convinced that education goes beyond four years of university studies. Education is a continuous process, the more I learn, the more I realize how little I know. Self-improvement is a powerful and productive force that broadens our horizons and improves our ability to make informed decisions for ourselves and others.
We set ourselves the goal of building a business that would be distinguished by its culture, where there is no unprofessionalism or poor communication, which usually becomes a sign of low company profits. Now we can proudly and confidently say that we chose the right path and continue to move along it. We are the ones with whom it is most pleasant to cooperate and who bring satisfaction both to the process of cooperation and to the result. E-commerce was booming in 2012, so we decided to focus on Magento, as it was the most promising technology of Ukrainian production. What started as a simple idea of a young student has grown into IT Delight, and every day it rises one level higher. And, as experience shows, our competitive advantage lies in a purposeful approach.
After surviving the global financial crisis, internal issues at the company, and externally unfavorable business development conditions, we have firsthand knowledge of what it’s like to fail, again and again, get back up, shake off the dust, and keep moving forward.
Building relationships is the cornerstone of long-term value creation. IT Delight is a tight-knit, strong, and brave team that sticks together and supports each other. Turbulence does not scare us; we know how to fasten seatbelts and drive faster. Although we face many challenges and go through ups and downs, I am proud of who we are and who we become day after day.

The IT Delight leader’s job is to lay the groundwork so that everyone on the team may make their own decisions. This is made easier with the capacity to negotiate, consider all parties’ interests, stand up for the viewpoint of one’s team, and reach a compromise. We reject dogmatism and are willing to adapt our ideas to the changing environment for the benefit of humanity as a whole. Therefore, success for us is the capacity to take pleasure in our work and observe the effects of our decisions – even if not every one of them is completely successful, we are proud that our tomorrow is often better than yesterday.
One of our key goals and motivations is to explore new countries, experience different cultures, and better understand diverse perspectives and ways of thinking. We also strive to create opportunities for our team members to travel, connect with clients, and gain international experience through meaningful cultural exchange. Igor has shared his vision of celebrating his 50th birthday by launching a foundation that supports talented young Ukrainian entrepreneurs in building their first businesses. While this goal still lies ahead, the team is already working with dedication and ambition to help make it a reality. Every day, we continue to grow stronger, more experienced, and more driven as we focus on the future of IT Delight.
